Hi there, are you Thirsty? I'm Kyrsti Sackman.

I’ve been working in BSD for almost 10 years as a SPED Para, I am in my 3rd year as a Para III Rover. I am currently the Ch 48 President, I have been active on the board for about 7 years. I stepped into Union leadership, originally because I was volun-told, but ultimately I believe in the intentions and the good work that we can do as a Classified Team. I believe Classifed employees truly are the glue of BSD and really every school district and I really do standing shoulder to shoulder with members to do things like advocate for a good contract, testifying at the capital for better workers rights and education funding, to supporting a member through difficult times at work and even celebrating the wins of amazing staff getting positive reviews or making wins with students!

When not doing union work, well I dont know when that is, but I love to be out in nature or spending time in my favorite job, being Auntie Kyrsti.
